Lynda Ellis

Lynda is our database specialist and co-developed the software which is unique to the diversified requirements of our housing bureau.

Lynda has a special way of working with our clients and understanding their special reporting needs.   She develops and customizes reports which are as individual as each of our clients.   Maintaining sub blocks and master accounts for each client event is no easy task yet Lynda’s passion for detail make it look easy.

Her association management and conference skills have been instrumental in helping grow our business.  Lynda takes on the day to day responsibilities of managing our clients housing requirements thus allowing them to concentrate on their event.

Louise Fast

Louise brought over 25 years of senior management experience to the Destination Toronto*Destination Plus team when the company was formed in 1998.  She was the Vice President and General Manager of a leading Canadian electronic publishing firm with a staff of over 100.

Louise has strong skills in financial management, long-range planning and systems development.  She has used these skills to help Destination Toronto*Destination Plus through its formative years to establish solid business plans; monitor progress of those plans; and alter the plans as needed based on market conditions.

Louise is also our bilingual (English/French) partner and as such she’s taken some of our shows held in Quebec under her wing.

She is not afraid to devote many hours to volunteer activities.  She has held senior level positions within the Girl Guides of Canada/Guides du Canada organization including sitting on its national board of directors.  She has been recognized for these efforts, earning one of the highest highest volunteer awards given by that national organization.

Carolyne Vigon

Carolyne is our chief negotiator and she does a splendid job of maintaining great relationships with our hotel partners, while ensuring our clients receive the lowest possible rates.

Carolyne has strong marketing skills and works with the philosophy that the fewer words the better.  Her to-the-point approach is evident throughout all of our marketing material.    She knows our clients and soon-to-be clients are busy, so she provides the information they need clearly, concisely and quickly.  But she’s always keeping her eye on the ball and often identifies an opportunity before it appears on the horizon.

Her 20 plus years in association management and conference planning helped pave the way for the launch of Canada’s only national housing bureau, and her devotion to helping our Canadian clients has helped pave the way toward our success.

Carolyne is an animal lover and Mom to the company mascots – our 2 Lhasa Apsos, T.J. and Riley.
